Sean Phekoo is an Artist, composer, entertainer, producer, entrepreneur, businessman,
artist philanthropist, band member of the popular Japanese Band RDD.

A highly skilled, cultivated, seasoned, professional with a heightened sensibility for
executing quality production both on and off stage; armed with his calm demeanor and
an unbiased appetite to experience all things music business related, this has fueled his
thrust to leap rhythmically beyond boundaries. Phekoo through his endeavors, loyalty,
dedication and commitment to humanity, he has inspired, educated, entertained, enlightened

somewhat mainstream in styles because they knew that he would be able to play or

Phekoo has an acute eye both for spotting talent and detail, coupled with an innate ability
to make things happen. As an American musical composer, musician and record
producer who in 2013 became the first foreigner ever to win the Japan Record Award
Grand Prize (JRA) in the category of “Song of the Year”. JRA is Japanese equivalent to
the American Grammy Award. Mr. Phekoo is a member of the Red Diamond Dogs (RDD)
band.
Mr. Phekoo is the composer of the multiplatinum single “Exile Pride” by Atsushi and
Japanese male vocal-dance group Exile. The official music video for “Exile Pride” won
Video of the Year at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards Japan. Mr. Phekoo composed
the song “Angel Heart” on the album Love Ballade, by RDD band member, male singersongwriter Exile Atsushi. On December 3, 2012, Love Ballade debuted at No.1 on the
Oricon charts.
The group’s single “Angel Heart” was the “theme song” for the Japanese Red Cross

Society’s “Cross Now!” campaign in 2014 and 2015. In 2016, RDD made their debut on
the “Exile Atsushi its Showtime!!” Japan tour.
Additionally, he is a person who is highly regarded for his analytical acumen and as such
he is as efficient as he is loyal, a stickler for details and level-headed with a calm
disposition during sometimes heated moments where he is able to achieve a general
consensus in any given situation.
Mr. Phekoo is the Artistic/Production Director of both NACTIP and Promote West Africa,
Mr. Phekoo has a knack for problem solving. For over 17 years he has served as
Managing Director for A FE WE CULTURE, INC. a task he has dedicated.
Phekoo plays an active role as a member of the NACTIP team, in grass-root activities to
build a brighter future for today’s emerging talented artists, youths in The Gambia and
throughout Africa.
